Our Mission
為紀念歷史上最偉大的教育家 — 至聖先師孔子，世界各地皆於其生日 (每年九月二十八日) 舉行祭孔釋奠大典。
大華府祭孔大典委員會于2004年成立，由社區德高望重及熱心的僑領擔任志工，本著紀念孔子對教育的貢獻、在異國發揚中華文化、及宣揚孔孟儒家思想的初心，每年皆聯合華府僑界社團舉辦祭孔釋奠典禮及相關活動，以表達對教育界人士的敬意。
目標與成就
WMCMCC hosted the ceremony for the past 15 years. With involvement of more than 100 organizations / government departments, successfully promoted the tribute to Confucius and educators.
